Borderlands Remastered Collection appears on the Australian Classification Board

Could the Borderlands games be going next generation (or current generation) well apparently there is evidence that they are with the Borderlands Remastered Edition. The Australian Classification Board has recently awarded an MA15+ to this Borderlands game on their website, which based on this gives a suggestion that we could be seeing these games arrive on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Previously all the games in the franchise, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands the Pre-Sequel have arrived on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Though while there is no mention of which game this listing relates to (though I would think based on the title it is the first game), the site lists both Gearbox Software, developer of Borderlands 1 and 2, and 2K Australia, developer of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, as authors. 2K Games is also listed as the publisher. This does leave it open to any of the games in the franchise.

If this is for next generation consoles this will most likely be well received and join an already popular and infamous group of games that have already hit next generation such as Grand Theft Auto 5 and The Last of Us.

Here’s hoping this is true, and if I find out anymore information on this story I will be sure to let you know.
