Microsoft Omitting Kinect From New $399 Xbox One Bundle

Microsoft is not doing well. That much is clear. Windows 8 was met with worldwide hate, and the new Xbox One has not received much positive reception, instead being outsold by the simultaneously launched PS4, made by Sony. Microsoft is attempting to boost Xbox One sales by omitting the superfluous Kinect, and dropping the price of the new option to $399, $100 less than the Xbox One with Kinect. Will this price drop allow the Xbox One to be as successful as the Xbox 360? That is not clear at the moment, but it will hopefully allow the Xbox One to make a comeback. You can read more about it here, on the Xbox blog.
