In the upcoming Child of Light, you play as a princess, named Aurora. She has a traveling firefly, orb, thingy, named Igniculus, that aids her in battle. During the turn based encounters, a second player will be able to jump in and take control of Igniculus, in classic cooperative fashion!
Aside from helping by distracting her enemies, the blue firefly will also be able to gather items, trigger switches, reveal hidden passages, light Aurora’s way through the dark, heal if necessary, stun baddies, and aide in solving puzzles.
Yes, fireflies are very handy! Be on the look out for more updates, as the release date for Child of Light quickly approaches, in late April. I can’t wait!
