The DICE Videogame Summit, hosted by Felicia Day and Freddie Wong, concluded yesterday, and Naughty Dog cleaned house. The Last of Us ended up walking away with not only Game of the Year, but NINE other awards as well.
Other notable winners include Irrational Games’ Bioshock Infinite, which won Action Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition. Plants vs. Zombies 2 by PopCap won both Casual Game of the Year and Mobile Game of the Year, while EA Canada’s FIFA 14 took home Sports Game of the Year. Downloadable Game of the Year went to Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons by Starbreeze Studios.
DICE also introduced the new Category of Online Game of the Year, which went to Wargaming for their title World of Tanks.
