First batch of add on content revealed for Batman Arkham Knight, stars Batgirl

Warner Brothers Interactive and Rocksteady are getting set to give Batman Arkham Knight fans even more with the first batch of downloadable content for the game. The first batch of content will provide the first story driven add on for the game, and will provide Batgirl as a playable character for the first time ever. The content titled Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be arriving for season pass owners on July 14th.

Those who haven’t purchased the season pass will have to wait just a little bit longer until July 21st to be able to purchase the content. It will be available for an affordable price of £6 in England, other regions however have not been decided just yet.

For obvious reasons Batgirl: A Matter of Family will not take place within the Arkham Knight timeline, but instead will be set before the events of Arkham Asylum.

The content will take place in an entirely new location, and will feature multiple missions, side quests, and secrets to uncover. Within Batgirl’s story a new hacking mechanic will be introduced for you to solve puzzles with. Additionally, Arkham Knight’s Dual Play functionality will return with Batgirl teaming up with Robin in order to work together to perform wonderful takedown moves.

For now Batgirl: A Matter of Family has only been announced for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, as currently many issues are plaguing the PC version of the game.
