The Game Boy was the original handheld system, the one that started the interest with playing games on the go. Without it we may have never seen a 3DS or any other of Nintendo’s great handheld systems or even great franchises. I may not have even been born when this was originally released, but that doesn’t mean I know nothing of this console, it holds some of my greatest gaming memories including beginning my love of Pokemon which has still continued even now. For many though they still hold the Game Boy as the best line of handheld console ever made and wish for a return to the Game Boy line. Maybe one day it will but for now we can just say congratulations you are still a great console. It was originally released in 1989 in Japan.
