Back in 2013 we were teased with a new Pokemon game, in this game we were set to play as a Pikachu who was a detective. Since the initial tease the game has flown under the radar but finally the game resurfaced today and surprisingly it will be hitting Japan next week.
Great Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Combination, developed by Creatures, releases on February 3 as a 3DS eShop game. Pricing is set at 1,500 yen (1,200 yen between January 27 and February 29). You can watch the first trailer below.

Hopefully we will hear more about this game soon, and here is hoping that the game heads out to the rest of the world within the next couple of months.
