When it comes to the player base of specific games the case for who actually plays them is commonly on one side, in some cases girls play a franchise more, while in others the male plays the franchise more. With this in mind Disney Infinity is an interesting franchise that has no actual split in the fanbase, fifty percent of fans are female and of course the other fifty percent are male and Disney Interactive knows this. This is why as part of the games promotion the developers have put such a strong emphasis on Ahsoka, she is for the female players as much as Anakin is for the male.
Disney Interactive’s John Vignocchi had this to say to the Wall Street Journal:
“With Disney’s IP treasure chest of powerful and strong female characters, we actually are seeing a split with Infinity that’s more 50% boys and 50% girls.”
