Hitman delayed to 2016

Tis the season for delays, another game has moved itself out of its 2015 release into a later release in 2016. After the loss of Star Fox last week and many other big games earlier this year (Uncharted 4, Zelda U, need I say more) 2016 may be looking bigger and better for big releases but a hole is being left in the rest of 2015.

Square Enix’s Hitman is the latest game to join the ranks of delayed games set to appear in 2016, previously the series reboot was set to appear this December but for certain reasons Square Enix has decided to delay the game to arrive next year. Originally this game was set to be released as an episodic game with new content added over time, perhaps this could be developer IO Interactive realizing this might annoy long time fans and this could be the leading reason for the delay, unfortunately we don’t quite know.

Hitman is now due to arrive in March of 2016 so you can look forward to this then. Interestingly, I always thought Hitman was arriving in 2016 anyway so this delay just proved me right without meaning to. Either way 2016 is going to be an amazing year.
