Limited Run Games has been making waves of late, they have brought several digital only games out as physical releases for a short time. Just recently they sited interest in bringing Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water out as a physical release, but this is not the only game on a Nintendo system that they want to do a physical release for.
Limited Run Games has revealed that they have an interest in working with the Ace Attorney franchise more notably Ace Attorney Dual Destinies. This particular game was released as a digital exclusive on the Nintendo 3DS sometime ago, now they want to make a physical release happen.
Limited Run Games discussed their ambition a few days ago in regards to Ace Attorney Dual Destinies stating:
It is a possibility, but like Atelier or other big games we’d be distributing rather than publishing. We’d have to pay a pretty high per unit cost to Capcom and buy 5k+. We haven’t made any progress on Dual Destinies, but it’s a personal want of mine.
There is no way to tell if this will end up happening but for fans of the game or franchise it will be a great opportunity.
