Microsoft will show off a brand new exclusive intellectual property at E3

Microsoft is planning to make a big announcement at E3 with the reveal of a new exclusive intellectual property, as Phil Spencer announced in a couple of tweets. Spencer had this to say:

We should have new exclusive IP at E3, ‘m trying to make this E3 more about 1st party than past E3s.

“This is going to be a fun year,” he added. “I think it might be our best 1st party content year ever.”

Rest assured though that by new IP we are not seeing a rehash of their current ideas, as last October Phil Spencer did reveal that Microsoft was working on a new Intellectual Property, but we can rest assured with the knowledge it won’t be “another military space marine game” or racing game. Also at E3 Microsoft is expected to show off more of Scalebound which was announced at E3 last year from Platinum Games and director Hideki Kamiya.

Providing the new idea is good this could be a potential Xbox One console seller catching up with the Playstation 4. Either way this could be a great year for Microsoft and like many others I look forward to seeing what they have to show us.
