Battlefield has always focused more on its multiplayer modes than its single player campaign with its massively multiplayer maps and options. However, it appears that the the developers at DICE have been pushing towards increasing their efforts on the single player aspects of the game.
The new single player gameplay footage that was released for the upcoming cops and robbers themed game looks like it may do the single player mode justice, and seems like it will be an interesting mode to go through. This makes sense since the developer of this game is actually Visceral games with EA, best known for DeadSpace which has come great single player campaigns.
