New Deal Means That WWE 2K Games Will Continue For Many Years

The WWE 2K game series won’t be going anywhere soon. 2K and WWE have recently announced that they have extended their partnership with a new multi-year agreement. This partnership allows 2K to create WWE games for all major platforms.

The WWE game franchise has been going on for 18 years and the first WWE games were published by THQ until the company collapsed and Take-Two (2K’s parent company) stepped in and partnered with WWE.

In addition to the console game, 2K stated in their announcement that it will “continue to invest” in the WWE Super Card game.

“2K’s partnership with WWE over the past three years has resulted in a successful and important addition to the company’s portfolio of profitable franchises,” 2K COO David Ismailer also said “We are very please to extend our partnership with WWE and look forward to many years of collaboration.”
