New Death Stranding trailer shown off at the Game Awards

At the Game Awards 2016 Hideo Kojima received the Industry Icon award then followed up by offering viewers a huge gift in the form of a new trailer for Death Stranding, and while many of us are still trying to work out what the  earth the first trailer was about this new one brings us no closer. Kojima continues to confuse us, much like with the original Death Stranding trailer this one seeks to offer little explanation  and even more subtle allegory’s for the mystery that is this game.

From an upside down rainbow, to what seems like militant forces, corrupted people and creepy dolls one thing is clear this world is weird. Who knows what is going on the most we can take from this is the reveal that actor Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, Doctor Strange) will be playing a key role, though from the look of things he could be a villain but this could simply be part of the mystery.

We still know nothing about the game, no release date, how it going to play, or even the meanings behind anything, but certainly this game has the worlds attention. You can watch the new trailer for the game below and try to unravel its secrets:
