PlayStation Vita is receiving a new Optional Update. The Update 1.69 is not necessary to do but according to Sony, it “improves software stability.”
Update 1.69 is 97 MB in size and should download fast even for those with slower speeds. If for some reason it is going slowly you can hook up your vita to your ps3 which will help download it faster, provided you have a PS3.
