Finally, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will release for the PS Vita and the PS3! It has been promised several times before, but has always been pushed back. I know cause I’ve had it reserved since February! I think it was also supposed to see an official release sometime in 2013, so it’s been a long time coming. However, tomorrow is April Fool’s Day, and the game has been delayed before. So, let’s hope that this is truly the day it comes out on PS3 and Vita!
If you don’t know what is, here’s a brief rundown on the game. Based on the Ragnarok Online MMO, Ragnarok Odyssey was originally released on the PS Vita, in 2012. It’s a fantasy game, with classes, dragons, upgradable weapons, intricate armor, and a party system. Ace will be the same game, but with a whole host of added features.
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is an MMO for the PS3 and Vita, but with less of the massive part. Players will be able to play the game solo, in a single player campaign, or join up with 4 other players to adventure through the dungeons, in a separate online mode. There will be cross platform capabilities, with people able to form parties with anyone on PS3, or Vita, which is really cool!
