This once Wii U exclusive, Rayman Legends is about to release over here in North America as multiplatform September 3rd. Well it seems the Wii U version will remain exclusive in Japan. It looks like Nintendo will be taking care of the publishing for Ubisoft just like they have done for Just Dance series. Rayman doesn’t seem to have much fans in Japan compared to the west side so it makes sense from a monetary standpoint for Ubisoft have Nintendo cover the publishing costs.
