Shantae: Half Genie Hero is another game that has taken a while to finally surface for us to play. This game was revealed to us back in 2013 as part of a Kickstarter campaign, now around three years later Shantae is finally making a welcome comeback with a release date nailed down (pending delay).
WayForward Technologies have confirmed the official date for the game revealing that it will arrive on September 27th, with pricing currently set for $29.99. This game will not just be arriving digitally however, WayForward has partnered with XSEED to release physical copies of the game, these will only be available for the Playstation 4, Playstation Vita, and Wii U. Should you want the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or PC version these will only be available on digital stores.
I will definitely be picking up this game as a physical copy on my Wii U.
