Microsoft only revealed their Games With Gold titles a few days ago, and now its Sony’s turn with their Playstation Plus offer for August, and again, its a mixed month that may annoy some fans, but also will delight others.
For the Playstation 4 in August, Sony is returning to the world of independent games (something that has annoyed Playstation Plus subscribers for the past year), and they will be offering us the puzzling Tricky Towers, as well as sending us into space with Rebel Galaxy.
On the Playstation 3 you can look forward to playing 2015’s Yakuza 5 likely as a preparation for the upcoming release of Yakuza 6 (of course that is just a guess), Playstation 3 users will also be getting Retro/Grade which is an intriguing rhythm game if you haven’t played it then you have no excuse now. Finally, for the Vita and those who own this system will be getting Patapon 3, while the Vita, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 will all be getting Ultratron from Curve Digital.
For August, the Playstation Plus offers will run from August 2nd through September 5th so you will have plenty of time to get your games. This fails to be one of Sony’s highlight months but I still feel there is something for everyone here. Who knows, maybe people might find a new favorite.
