Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has been banned from Miiverse twice

In some more random news Sony’s  Shuhei Yoshida who handles some of the key things in relation to Sony has revealed that he has been banned from Nintendo’s Miiverse twice for crimes against the Miiverse Code of Conduct. The reasons he has been banned twice is because the first time promoting his Twitter handle – @yosp – and secondly by expressing his affection for the PlayStation brand, which obviosly since he is a part of Sony we know he would do. The Sony executive has previously stated that he owns two Wii U consoles so we know that he actually quite likes Nintendo’s platforms.

Here is his official statement:

The first time was because I had my Twitter account in my profile and that’s against the rules,” Yoshida said. “The second time is because I wrote, ‘I love PS.’ You’re not supposed to promote a commercial product in MiiVerse, so they correctly interpreted ‘PS’ as PlayStation.

This was all said in an interview about his career and other points made on Engadget.

The funny thing about this story is that I see many people saying about loving Playstation and Xbox when I view Miiverse on occasion but yet these people don’t get banned. Essentially the code of conduct is incredibly stupid.
