It looks like this year will be another year of layoffs, Square Enix has just recently layoff some of their European Staff. It seems the poor result of their recent games, such as Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution, is the cause of this layoffs.
“We do expect changes to the UK office, which will affect personnel,” the publisher said. “We will update you when the time is right, but our priority right now is for the people within the business.
Square Enix had also layoff some of their North America division earlier this month , and it seems their North America Division is in need of more restructuring.
