The Legend of Zelda for Wii U and NX, now known as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that I have had mixed feelings about for a while, but still I had high hopes for a simple trailer at E3 and Nintendo delivered. Surprisingly this game actually looks better then I expected, and this carries more weight across the varying landscapes and locations that make up this immense field.
Furthermore, Breath of the Wild will add plenty of new game mechanics which simply look awesome and could potentially redefine Zelda (if they are used right). The world is truly open, and in some ways I have detected an almost Uncharted like presence, with the climbing, while also seeing something new in how you use the environment to your advantage. Another noteworthy part of the game is Link’s basic costume appears to be the standard for the next Zelda adventure with Link also being able to equip armor. There is so much to talk about which I might do later, but before you watch the trailer I must say this could actually rival Skyward Sword in a more unique way for best Zelda game.
