The Making of Child of Light: Part 1

Child of Light will be released on April 30th, 2014.  Child of Light is meant to be a playable poem, inspired by the golden age of illustration.  It should feel like you’re moving through an animated painting, and give the player the feeling of being awake in an underwater dream.  This game is meant for the fans of classic console RPGs.

The story of Child of Light is a coming of age story, that follows the young princess, Aurora.  She awakes in the mysterious world of Lemuria, and must take a journey to return home to her father.  Aurora starts off as a lost child, and ultimately becomes the princess that saves Lemuria

Child of Light utilizes the UbiArt Framework Engine, which was previously used with Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.  The concept art is the actual game art!  They just cut it up, and put it into the game.  That’s why it looks so amazing!  Look forward to The Making of Child of Light: Part 2 for more details on this upcoming epic.
