Times are extremely tough at the moment with the horrific outbreak of coronavirus, which is exactly why we all need to occupy our minds with something else in the coming weeks. Step forward, games. And lots of them.

Thanks to mobile phones these days, we’re able to experience a wide variety of creations. Technological advancements in this space have enabled developers to bring us games that we’ve never seen before. Sports fans have FIFA 20 or Rugby 20, augmented reality lovers have Pokemon Go, if wreaking havoc if your sort of thing then PUBG Mobile is an option, alongside other creations like Angry birds, mobile casino games where you can win money at https://www.casino.com/, and the hugely popular Candy Crush. Thankfully, we’re spoilt for choice in that respect.

There’s a lot of games to sift through, though. So, to save you the hassle, we thought we’d come up with five Android games worth downloading in 2020 so far. There are certainly a few options out there.

Death Road to Canada

Zombie apocalypse games are usually pretty intense and tend to be reasonably popular. Well, step forward the next in a long line of games of this kind, Death Road to Canada. Leading your squad misfits, you are tasked with getting to the relative safety of Canada. Along the way, though, you’ll have to tackle zombies, loot stores for supplies and make sure yours and your teams’ health is all right. You can custom design your character too, which is a neat little addition to the game. The controls aren’t the easiest, we must say, but once you master them, then this game will keep you entertained for hours on end.

Battle Chasers: Night War

An award-winning JRPG that offers one of the most complete mobile RPG experiences, Battle Chasers: Night War is an epic masterpiece. There's no in-app purchases or paid DLC in the game - which is incredibly refreshing - alongside the fact that it’s a fun and entertaining play too. There are dungeons to explore, bosses to see off, and a number of surprises as you make your way through the over-world. Upgrading your team's weapons, armour, and magical jewellery is a necessity in the game too, which all contributes towards what is an excellent Android game.

Chameleon Run

We had to chuck a puzzle game in there, not just because of their rise in popularity, but also because this particular one is unique. Chameleon Run is an auto-runner that tests your reaction time as you jump across various coloured platforms. The higher the level, the harder it gets. It’s not the longest of games, but damn is it hard to put down.

Call of Duty Mobile

callofdutymobile

There’s always an abundance of hype around any Call of Duty game, and this Android creation is certainly no different. To be fair, the hype is genuinely warranted on this one - Activision and TiMi Studios have nailed it. The updated 2020 version of the game has gone down a storm so far, mainly down to an outstanding new 20 vs 20 Battle Royale mode called Warfare. A game full of chaos and stealth, Call of Duty Mobile is pretty much guaranteed to be one of your go-to games should you download it. It’s brilliant, that’s why.

Godus

If you’ve ever wanted to play God, then Godus gives you the chance to do so. With power over earth itself, this sims game is a cracker. Shaping the world as you see fit, you can also use your godly powers to send loving or destructive miracles. A game well worth playing, that’s for sure.
