The White Wolf makes his return to gaming in Soulcalibur VI as a guest fighter.
Geralt of Rivia's appearance in a game outside the Witcher universe has been teased throughout the month, and many fans speculated he would appear in the newest entry of Soulcalibur. Bandai Namco and CD Projekt RED have a history together — Bandai Namco published The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in regions outside North America.
The new trailer reveal shows Geralt of Rivia and other Soulcalibur VI characters fighting in a Kaer Morhen stage. Geralt's fighting style appears to mimic that of The Witcher series.
In addition to his two swords, he is seen using Witcher signs, including the fire-spewing Ignis and the shielding Quen sign, among others. He uses the Axii sign as a finisher move on Mitsurugi.
Voice actor Doug Cockle will also return to voice Geralt. Soulcalibur VI is set to release in 2018. Watch the full reveal trailer for Geralt of Rivia below:
