This week has been quite a plummet in Japanese console sales, it just must be a bad time and I sure that they will go back up in the coming weeks but in comparison to last week some things have dropped in sales quite dramatically and others have just dropped down in general.
The latest Japanese hardware sales from Media Create are as follows:
3DS LL – 18,350
Vita – 12,810
PS3 – 7,339
PS4 – 6,792
Wii U – 6,716
3DS – 5,250
PSP – 1,642
Vita TV – 1,055
Xbox 360 – 201
For comparison’s sake, here are the hardware numbers from last week:
3DS LL – 28,414
Vita – 17,143
PS4 – 8,480
PS3 – 7,684
Wii U – 7,613
3DS – 7,529

Lets hope these numbers improve but on the other side there have not been much in the way of significant releases to drive sales this week so hopefully soon they will rise, particularly the Wii U.
