Nintendo E3 2019 – Finally, News On Animal Crossing: New Horizons

After months of silence, and nothing but a short teaser to go by, fans of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing finally got their first glimpse at the upcoming sequel, and a title: Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The game was originally meant to hit shelves this year, and will now be available March 2020. However,  the new information about our favorite woodland creature life sim is sure to keep fans going.

In the new trailer, we see multiplayer like never before – with eight human villagers appearing on-screen. Also straying from previous games in the Animal Crossing series, it looks like we’ll be starting on a deserted island which we’ll build from the ground up (with Tom Nook plunging us into debt along the way).

And most importantly of all, there are flower crowns.

With so much on a focus on adding personal touches to your island, including being able to place furniture outside, it would be a welcome addition to have the mechanics of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, where homes could be customized to your heart’s content, really allowing for some imaginative work. it also remains to be seen how much the game will rely on the multiplayer, and whether we’ll still get a great experience sitting at home and keeping our island to ourselves.

We’ll be landing on the deserted island in March 2020, so until then, take a look the latest trailer:

What else do you want from the new Animal Crossing? Have you already got a name for your island? How ready are you to be mad at Tom Nook? Let us know in the comments.
