Playstation Plus has just hit 7.9 million subscriptions according to dual shockers. It is not clear whether this are paid subscriptions, or all subscriptions (including trial ones).
Regardless, the PSN is rapidly growing, and Sony is trying to keep up with the rapid sign-up speed. The Playstation 4 has surpassed 10 million consoles sold, so 8 million playstation plus members mean that they are doing alright when it comes to user-sign up.
The PSN is still considered by many to be inferior to Xbox Live, as it suffers weekly problems due to the sheer numbers of sign ups.
That being said, GameLuster would like to congratulate sony on hitting this milestone!
