Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! Announced for November

Nintendo has announced new Pokémon titles releasing for the  Switch this fall.

Nintendo has announced that Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee will be coming to the Switch on November 16. Both versions will be based off of Pokémon Yellow, and will be taking gamers back to the Kanto region. The title players choose will determine which creature will accompany them on their adventure.

The Let’s Go titles can be played solo with a single Joy-Con. A second Joy-Con can be handed off to a friend for couch co-op, with the second player dropping in as another trainer to help out. This extra trainer can provide aid in both catching Pokémon and battling.

The Let’s Go titles will be compatible with Pokémon Go. Creatures that are caught in Go can be transferred over to the Switch titles, and presents can be sent from the console to the mobile game. Nintendo also teased a special present in the trailer for those who transfer over to their handheld device (which can be seen below).

Also revealed was a special PokéBall peripheral that can be used as a controller for the game. Players will be able to transfer their captured creatures over to the PokéBall and carry them along wherever they go.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee will release for the Nintendo Switch on November 16.
