Screenshot Saturday – February 27th

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, February 27.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out last week’s list here!

Tadpole Tales

This colorful Shoot ‘Em Up, Tadpole Tales, was shared by the developer @zizhen96 in this tweet. The art style and theme is very unique for the genre, and the character designs look fantastic. We’re glad they shared this short video with us, and hope to see more in the coming weeks!

It’s A Wrap!

Its A Wrap Screenshot

The studio developing It’s A Wrap! (@StudiosChanko) shared this amazing character art in this tweet. For a game about the 1980s movie industry, the character design and art style is on point, and it seems that we should expect a fun and interesting game.

Cloud Watcher

Another new game to keep our eyes on, this gif from Cloud Wathcer was shared by the developer @samuraizabe in this tweet. The background design and animations look beautiful, and the game has the familiar feeling of artistic platformers that indie fans love. We are excited to see more of this game being revealed!

The Last Chronomancer

These beautiful screenshots from the retro style RPG, The Last Chronomancer, was shared by the game’s twitter page (@Guld_TLC) in this tweet. The art style of the game is very nostalgic, while still feeling original and unique. The coloring, character and world design, as well as the use of lighting is very well done, and we can’t wait to see more of this beautiful retro RPG in the future.

Last Man Sitting

Is it just me, or does Last Man Sitting looks exactly like daydreams of a bored office worker? This hilarious video was shared by the developer @Der_Kevin in this tweet, and it just looks too funny to not mention in this week’s round up. I can’t wait to play this game and release some built up tension from my old office days!
