Screenshot Saturday – September 11th

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, September 11.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out the previous list here!

Godshard Chronicles

This lovely scene from Godshard Chronicles was shared by the game’s Twitter page (@GodshardRPG) in this tweet. The classic RPG art style looks amazing, and the dog’s running and tail-wagging animations are just adorable. We are looking forward to hearing more about this game very soon!

Billie Bust Up

These cute characters celebrating Screenshot Saturday are from the game Billie Bust Up (@BillieBustUp) that were shared in this tweet. The character designs and animations look amazing, and the uncomfortable look on the goat’s face is just brilliant! We are a few years away from its planned release, but you can wishlist the game and even play a free demo on Steam right now.

Assault Spy

These cinematic fight scenes are from the game Assualt Spy, shared by the game’s Twitter page (@Assault_Spy) in this tweet. While the visual design of the game is still incomplete, the action and mechanics look exciting, and we can’t wait to see these scenes take place in a fully fleshed-out world!

Clash Of The Metal

We don’t see many fighting games shared during Screenshot Saturdays, but when we find them, they look amazing. This short scene for Clash of the Metal was shared by the game’s Twitter page (@ClashOfTheMetal) in this tweet. The transformers style characters and animations look great for a fighting game, and we will keep an eye out for more mech fights in the coming weeks!

Silent Santicado

This unique and minimalistic-looking game, Silent Santicado, was shared by the developer (@NixPixGames) in this tweet. The art style and the color palette are very simple, but in combination with the animations and character designs, result in a very memorable style. We can’t wait to hear more about this game in the future!
