Square Enix preparing to announce “several titles” at E3

In past years when it came to Square Enix and E3 many of the companies announcements would regularly be done through a partnership with Sony or Microsoft, but this year things are going to change. The gaming world was shocked when Square Enix announced they would be holding a press conference at E3, in the past they haven’t done this but we look forward to seeing how they do. A we know from E3 this year and Square Enix themselves in their press conference we are likely to see an update on Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and Final Fantasy XV also seems likely to make an appearance, but it also seems we could be in for a few surprises. In the latest financial briefing, Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda told investors that the company plans to announce “several titles” at E3. Square Enix’s E3 conference kicks off at 10:00 am Pacific on June 16th.

Hmm, I wonder what it is that Square Enix could have in store, I really don’t think any of us could begin to speculate given they announced Star Ocean 5 earlier this year, and they have such a history in games and franchises to fall back on. Though it does seem likely a remake or two might surface at the event, I guess we will just have to wait and see.
