A test done by Gamesquad.net shows that the Xbox One has significantly longer loading times than the Playstation 4.

Games like Need for Speed Rivals took nine minutes and 25 seconds on the Xbox One while only 32 seconds on the PlayStation 4.

They say that it is most likely explained by the excuse Phil Spencer made in an IGN podcast. He said that the Xbox One was meant to be online only, and these changes caused some reprogramming. This means that the longer install times may be checking the legitimacy of the game.

Whatever the case, Microsoft is working hard to speed up install times.
