Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection Due 2022 on PS5 & PC

Naughty Dog will be releasing a remastered bundle of both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, in 2022. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes two of the most iconic installments from the franchise, and they’ve been remastered for both PlayStation 5 and PC.

For those uninitiated with the series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End closed out Nathan Drake’s story in 2016. In his final adventure, Drake is reunited with his estranged brother Sam and Sully, where together they embark on a quest to locate Captain Avery’s lost treasure.

The swansong adventure takes Drake from the deserts of Madagascar to the lost pirate colony of Libertalia, and includes one of the single-greatest chase sequences ever seen in a video game. Plus, you can pet a lima.

A year after, Naughty Dog released Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a standalone expansion to the Uncharted universe focusing on treasure hunter Chloe Frazer, who’d previously appeared in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Together with Shoreline mercenary Nadine Ross, the two travel across India’s Western Ghats in search of the Golden Tusk of Ganesh, and take on a ruthless warlord.

According to a PlayStation Blog post, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for the PS5, while the PC version is currently “in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version.”

The earliest suggestions of a PC port for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End surfaced back in May, according to a presentation from Sony, released as part of their “Investors Relations” day.

Meanwhile, the Uncharted film is expected to debut in cinemas on February 18, 2022, following a series of delays relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, and years of development hell.

The Uncharted adaptation will star Tom Holland as a younger Nathan Drake, partnered with Mark Wahlberg as Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan and Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer, with Antonio Banderas and Tati Gabrielle in supporting roles.
