A new character has been confirmed for release in Mortal Kombat X, Mortal Kombat series producer has confirmed that Tanya will be the next character to make her way to latest Mortal Kombat game through downloadable content.
A fan recently took to twitter to ask the producer about Tanya and when we can expect to see her arrive in the game, Boon responded this with a confirmation that the character will be arriving in June, however he made sure not to reveal an actual date.
He had this to say:

Tanya herself has appeared in multiple entries in the franchise over the years dating back to Mortal Kombat 4 so fans should be happy to see her return.
With Tanya arriving in Mortal Kombat X this only leaves two characters left in the Kombat pack downloadable content which we don’t know about just yet. Previously Boon has teased the possibility of Rain being playable but it remains to be seen what could happen in the future, we will just have to wait and see what happens in the near future.
