Three Classic Resident Evil Games Are Coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019

Over the past year Capcom has been testing the waters with the Resident Evil series on Nintendo’s platform, starting with the Resident Evil: Revelations Collection and following with the Japan exclusive Biohazard 7: Resident Evil: Cloud Version. Clearly through these games they have started to see potential and have decided to continue bringing more Resident Evil to the platform.

Capcom has revealed that series classics Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil 4 are all headed to the Switch with a vague 2019 release date. Through their Twitter account, Capcom shared the news, stating:

Capcom is bringing multiple fan favorites to Nintendo Switch! Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will each be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2019! We’ll have more info soon!

More details will inevitably be revealed closer to the trio’s official release, whenever that happens. As for which versions of the game to expect, it can only be assumed that Capcom will release the latest high definition versions akin to what has been released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
