Sony’s Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle pairs a specially finished PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console with a matching DualSense controller and a download code for the game. The bundle will go on sale September 15 for $649.99, with no disc-drive version planned, according to TechEBlog.
The bundle launches on the same day as Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine. Its Battle Yellow design uses a bright yellow finish, claw-slash details that reveal parts of the darker chassis, and a matching slash motif on the controller. Artist Jock provided the key illustration, which shows a snarling Wolverine at the top of one faceplate concept.
A muted Adamantium silver version is also available, but it is limited to PS5 Pro covers and a matching DualSense controller rather than the complete console bundle. The silver edition retains the slash details and Jock’s artwork in a different color treatment.
The special-edition console itself is available only as a Digital Edition model. Buyers who pre-order that version receive the full themed console package, while no disc-drive counterpart is planned. Marvel’s Wolverine, however, is expected to have a disc option at retail, making the game and the limited-edition console separate choices for players who prefer physical media.
Owners of a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro can instead buy the Battle Yellow console covers separately. The cover kits include parts for digital-only models as well as consoles with disc drives, allowing existing PS5 owners to use the themed design without buying the digital-only bundle.
