Helldivers 2 joined the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on August 12, 2026. The game is available worldwide to PlayStation Plus Extra members, arriving ahead of the other August Game Catalog additions, according to the PlayStation Blog.
The catalog release coincides with Devoid of Liberty, a Helldivers 2 update that sends players toward the Void. The update adds missions with objectives including destroying Illuminate spires and gateways, conducting data reconnaissance, infiltrating Illuminate structures, eradicating Void mutations and extracting research materials. It also introduces secondary extraction zones that can offer squads another way to evacuate.
New enemies include the Wretch and the Crusher. The Wretch is described as a fast-moving threat that can overwhelm weaker fighters, while the Crusher can absorb and deal heavy damage before regenerating. The update also makes all 300 ranks of security access and privileges available, alongside new rank titles.
August PlayStation Plus Game Catalog schedule
Most of the remaining August Game Catalog titles are scheduled for August 18, unless otherwise indicated. The lineup includes Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for PS5 and Vampire Survivors for PS5 and PS4.
Several games have a later date in the US, the UK and Japan. Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus and Dying Light 2 will be available in those regions on August 25.
PlayStation Plus Premium additions include Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, both for PS5 and PS4. PlayStation notes that Game Catalog and Premium or Deluxe lineups may differ by region, and players should check PlayStation Store on release day.
