Pre-loads Put Elden Ring First on the Switch 2 eShop

Elden Ring has reached No. 1 on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop all-games chart for the week of August 23, 2026, despite not yet being available. Pre-loads recently began, and that activity was enough to place the game ahead of Splatoon Raiders and Mario Kart World, according to Nintendo Everything.

Elden Ring leads the all-games chart

The chart places Elden Ring first while the game remains in its pre-load period. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, another title launching next week, is also available for pre-load and ranks No. 6.

Starsand Island debuts at No. 18. Other entries in the top 30 include Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at No. 19, Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition at No. 20, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition at No. 22, and Final Fantasy 14 at No. 23.

DayZ tops the download-only list

The download-only chart has a different leader, with DayZ taking the No. 1 position after ranking seventh on the all-games chart. Lies of P is second, followed by The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition in third.
