It’s once again that time of the month when Sony announces their upcoming monthly games lineup available to all subscribers on the PlayStation Plus service. It’s another month with some big names, as Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers from September 2 onwards! Monthly games are available to subscribers of every tier, including Essential, Extra and Premium, and they’re all available on both PS4 and PS5.
It’s fascinating to see Psychonauts 2 headlining the pack, as it’s a game published by Xbox Game Studios. The two former gaming rivals have been increasingly friendly as of late, with Sony even collaborating with Halo in their latest Helldivers 2 update. This is followed by indie gem Stardew Valley, which if you’ve never played then you absolutely must! A cozy farming simulator that revolutionized the genre, it’s worth a look regardless of your gaming tastes. Finally there’s Viewfinder, an incredibly creative first-person puzzle game with some surreal elements to its gameplay.
If you haven’t grabbed them for yourself yet, be sure to not miss out on August’s monthly games which will be available until September 1. These include the epic Soulslike Lies of P, along with Day Z and My Hero One’s Justice 2, and you’ve only got a few days left to claim them if you haven’t already.
