A Number of Final Fantasy Titles Are Heading to the Switch

It has been announced that a number of Final Fantasy titles will be making their way over to the Nintendo Switch.

The first title is Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, which is available now. The title will normally run for $29.99, but will be on sale for $17.99 for a limited time. Also revealed was World of Final Fantasy Maxima. Maxima will feature new characters (Champions) and monsters (Mirages). The game will release on Nov. 6.

It was also announced that Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy! will release this winter. This version of the game will feature a two-player co-op mode. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will also be remastered for the Switch. This new and updated version will include online play for up to four players, and will feature new areas to explore.

Finally, a number of classic mainline Final Fantasy titles are making their way over to the Switch. Final Fantasy VII and IX have been announced (Final Fantasy VIII has been left out), along with Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will also be ported over to the Switch. All of these titles can be expected to release in 2019.
