Valve announced their next game last year at the Dota 2 international tournament: a Dota 2-themed card game called Artifact. The wait to play Artifact is almost over.

In a news release by Valve last Wednesday, the company announced that Artifact is set to launch on Steam November 28, 2018 for Linux, Mac and Windows. Artifact will also release for iOS and Android too, but not until sometime in 2019. It will cost $19.99 on Steam.

Fans in Seattle will have an opportunity to try Artifact before its release, when Valve debuts the game at the PAX WEST conference August 31st – September 3rd. Valve will host an elimination tournament at the conference, where fans will battle it out for a chance to challenge a champion on the main stage. Win or lose, all participants get free Artifact products such as signed artwork and two free access codes for the game on its release.
