The Caligula Effect: Overdose Coming to the West in 2019

It has been announced that The Caligula Effect: Overdose will be releasing in North America early next year.

At Anime Expo 2018, NIS America announced that The Caligula Effect: Overdose will be coming to North America in early 2019. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

Overdose comes with a slew of new features. The game will feature enhanced visuals, as well as the ability to play as a newly added female protagonist. There are new scenarios and endings, as well as the “Forbidden Musician Route” while trying to escape the virtual world of Mobius. There will also be two new members of the Go-Home club, who will each have their own new Ostinato Musician to face.

A special edition of the game is available for pre-order on the NIS America Online Store. This edition of the game runs for $64.99. It includes the game, an official soundtrack, an official hardcover art book, a “Beautiful Lies” tear-resistant poster, and a collector’s box.

The Caligula Effect is available now on the PlayStation Vita. Overdose will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch sometime in early 2019.
