Mario Kart 8 is almost here so we start celebrating, especially since we already know about 27 confirmed characters. However this new picture we see above says many things,there are three question marks perhaps there are 30 characters. Another question is what if there are more, anything is possible and when you have a series as rich as Mario with so many main and minor characters you have the chance of seeing almost anything happen. One thing we can say for sure is that Mario Kart 8 already features plenty more characters then Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS.
So speculation time comes around, who could possibly be missing from the line up and appear. Well I do have some ideas earlier in the week there was speculation that Diddy Kong is a racer in Mario Kart 8, while this has been disconfirmed it still seems very likely given that Diddy is a prominent character in both Smash Brothers and Mario Kart Wii. Also perhaps we might see some more Donkey Kong representatives in the race given Funky Kong was in Mario Kart Wii or even Dixie could appear, we also have to look at the representatives we saw in Mario Kart 7 such as Queen Bee which could potentially return for this race. Then again there could be even more characters and we just don’t know it, we will just have to wait and see.
