After many years of absence outside of a delightful Uncharted 4 appearance Crash Bandicoot is finally set to return. Announced last year at E3, Activision is bringing a fully remastered version of the three original games from the original Playstation to the Playstation 4. Now after months of waiting Activision has finally revealed the release date for the game collection, revealing that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be releasing on the Playstation 4 on June 30th.
The game is set with a price of $39.99, and is being developed by Vicarious Visions. As part of this collection we see the revival of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. These remasters will also bring with them some much needed changes including brand new lighting, animations, a fully-remastered soundtrack, a unified save system, recreated cinematics and a whole lot more.
Playstation 4 owners can look forward to this glorious return in June, but to tie them over can watch the brief teaser that Activision sent out with the release date.
