Earlier this year Sony confirmed that Days Gone would not arrive in 2018 to ensure the best quality for the game and give the developers just a little more time to polish it up. We can only assume that the game will be better for the delay, but at the time we were uncertain on when exactly the game would arrive. Early 2019 seemed like a safe bet, but knowing Sony it could have come toward the year’s end. Thankfully, as confirmed during Sony’s countdown to E3 event, it is sooner rather than later.
With a new trailer Sony revealed that Bend Studios’ Days Gone will be making its way to PlayStation 4 on February 22. It has been a long road for Days Gone with its announcement back at E3 2016, but finally an end is in sight and anticipating fans have an idea of when they can get their hands on the game.

We can rest happy knowing that a release date for Days Gone has been announced. But don’t forget Sony will have more on the game during its E3 Press Conference. The company previously revealed that Days Gone will join The Last of Us Part II as a major focus of the conference.
