Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4 is getting an Amazon class pack in the first half of 2027. The returning Diablo 2 warrior will fight with bows and javelins, with javelins being introduced as her signature weapon type.
The class announcement comes ahead of Diablo 4: Season of Hell’s Legacy, which launches on Tuesday, September 15. The season marks the franchise’s 30th anniversary and brings back the Prime Evils, including Diablo, the Lord of Terror.

The Amazon did not arrive with Lord of Hatred, despite that expansion taking players to Skovos, her homeland. Lord of Hatred included the returning Paladin and the new Warlock, and Blizzard said players began asking about the Amazon soon after the expansion arrived.
Senior Game Director Brent Gibson and Senior Game Producer Tiffany Wat said the class has been shaped around speed, precision, and battlefield control. Gibson said the Amazon will use bows alongside the new javelin weapon type, giving the class a distinct combination of tools when it arrives.
Season of Hell’s Legacy will send players after echoes of Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto. The seasonal questline centers on collecting three Splinters of Evil. Players can choose to carry one Splinter, causing a power associated with that Prime Evil to periodically erupt during combat while making the player more vulnerable to that Prime Evil’s influence.
Each Splinter can be upgraded through specific activities, and players will be able to swap them freely. Blizzard also said Deckard Cain will appear in the anniversary season, alongside rewards that include gear inspired by every era of Diablo.

Blizzard has also announced Diablo 5 at BlizzCon 2026, but the company said Diablo 4 still has plenty of life and loot ahead of it. The upcoming season and the Amazon’s planned arrival are the currently confirmed parts of that continuing Diablo 4 roadmap.
