A certain group of people recently got the opportunity to jump into the closed beta of DOOM, by specific fans standards this was a big deal and those that missed out were obviously left disappointed. But never fear, it is time to dry your eyes and stop crying over a missed opportunity and look forward to being able to jump into DOOM yourself. Bethesda has revealed that DOOM will be getting an open beta which will be made available on April 15th and will last for only three days. This beta will be open to Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC and will offers players the chance to have a go at the Team Deathmatch and Warpath modes on the Infernal Heatwave Maps.
Bethesda has also revealed that DOOM will be receiving downloadable content, this will come in three different premium packs arriving post launch. The packs will bring new maps, playable demons, new weapons, hack modules and even more, each pack will cost $14.99 American currency, costs will vary by country.
The first pack includes:
– Three new maps
– One new weapon
– One new playable demon
– One new armour set
– One new piece of equipment
– New hack modules and taunts
– New customization colours and patterns
