A few weeks ago a follow up of sorts to Image & Forms brilliant Steamworld Dig was announced. I use the term “of sorts” for a reason and this is because this is not a direct sequel to the game many of us fell in love with instead there next game Steamworld Heist takes place in a different place in the Steamworld universe. Image & Form have just released their first gameplay screenshot for their upcoming project on their blog which of course you will find above.
One of the first things I have noticed from looking at this screenshot is that Steamworld Heist is going to be quite Steamworld Dig, sure I see similarities to the previous game in the form of background, but there are also a number of changes such as the inclusion of Ladders and also just how different the thing I assume is our character looks and the opposing enemy, even some of the ideas look different and this does excite me for the game.
