Genshin Impact: How To Build Sucrose

Although the most powerful characters in Genshin Impact are five-star, Sucrose can be considered one of the best units you can obtain despite being only four-star. This shy but helpful researcher can be a great support for your team if you know how to build her. If you are curious about the best Sucrose build, this handy guide can give you some pointers.

Genshin Impact Best Sucrose Build

Sucrose is a four-star unit with a Wind element. She is one of the best support you can get in the game thanks to her Elemental Skill, which can greatly boost Elemental Reactions. Not only that, but she is also great at grouping small enemies, allowing your main DPS to land their hits easily.

  • Weapon: A Thousand Floating Dreams or Sacrificial Fragments
  • Artifact Set: Viridescent Venerer
    • Main Stats:
      • Sands – ATK% or Elemental Mastery
      • Goblet – Elemental Mastery or Anemo DMG Bonus
      • Circlet – Elemental Mastery or CRIT Rate
    • Secondary Stats: Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, CRIT Rate, or CRIT DMG
  • Constellation: C6
  • Talent Priority: Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack

Genshin Impact Sucrose Character Detail

The best weapon for Sucrose is Nahida’s signature weapon, A Thousand Floating Dreams. Besides increasing her Elemental Mastery, this gear can further increase this stat if another Anemo unit is in the party. If there is none, the weapon will buff Sucrose’s Elemental DMG Bonus.

Another viable weapon is the four-star Catalyst Sacrificial Fragments. This weapon can boost her Elemental Mastery and gives a chance to prematurely end her Elemental Skill’s CD after attacking an opponent using her Skill.

For the Artifact Set, I recommend equipping the Viridescent Venerer set. This gear can buff Sucrose’s Anemo DMG Bonus and her Swirl DMG. It can also decrease the enemies’ Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl.

For Constellation, you should try to obtain Sucrose’s C6, Chaotic Entropy. With this Constellation unlocked, if her Elemental Burst triggers an Elemental Absorption, all allies will gain a 20 percent Elemental DMG Bonus for the corresponding absorbed element during its duration.

Lastly, when upgrading her Talents, I recommend leveling up her Elemental Skill first because that’s how she deals most of her damage. Then, you can also upgrade her Elemental Burst to gain some extra damage. I don’t recommend leveling up her Normal Attack since she’s not meant to be a main DPS.
